How is CARB interacting with the recently released National Greenhouse Gas Inventory? Specifically we are interested in the process the will be used to improve and integrate emerging science and data for the wetlands inventory. The last state carbon inventory had wetlands in California designated as a carbon source and the most recent National Greenhouse Gas Inventory has California wetlands as a sink. Pew stands ready to assist to connect CARB with the many scientists we have been working with directly including the lead scientists for the wetland section of the national greenhouse gas inventory. |
