Climate change is a looming problem for us all. And I applaud you for trying to come up with solutions to combat it. However, I believe that offsets such as the current rice cultivation offset protocol under consideration, as well as other offsets in kind, provide no solution to the problem. And may even make matters worse by believing that they do. Hence, they should be excluded from California's Global Warming Solutions Act AB32. Thank you for letting me comment on this matter.
