Mr. Chairman: Attached please find suggested alternative language for describing the potential of Butanol to contribute to the LCFS. The proposed language is intended to capture a more complete assessment of butanol's promise and challenges while also eliminating the incomplete and misleading comparisons with ethanol found in the previous version of the draft text.
