To the California Air Resources Board; Dear members of the California Air Resources Board, Find attached our declaration and some worst cases of REDD-type projects in Africa as well as a report on the Sengwer Report on the indigenous people evictions in Kenya. In short we demand that you, please, cancel the Rice Cultivation Projects Compliance Offset Protocol and all existing and proposed Compliance Offset Protocols under the Cap-and-Trade Regulation. Offsets and carbon trading are a false solution to climate change and must be excluded from California’s Global Warming Solutions Act AB32.
