Friday, May 20, 2016 1:30 p.m., PDT (WEBCAST) Sierra Hearing Room, 2nd Floor, Cal/EPA Building 1001 I Street, Sacramento, California Waste insulating foam from appliances and buildings contains fluorinated gases (F-gases) with very high global warming potentials up to 4,000 times more warming than carbon dioxide. The waste foam has been identified as a potentially significant source of greenhouse gas emissions from landfills.
